Team Changes in 2018

Ch-ch-changes are upon us at Oliver Russell as we usher in 2018. Besides my dog Roux getting some nail art, we’re adding and promoting folks left and right around here.
Shawn Samuelson has been a fixture at the agency since joining us as an Account Coordinator in June of 2006. Since then she's been a Producer, and most recently she was our Senior Producer. As of January 2, Shawna has been promoted to Account Services Director. In her new role, Shawna will apply her 10-plus years of client experience to handling all aspects of contract execution, managing the agency's account services team, and playing a greater role in identifying and landing clients that share our values and vision for using business as a force for good.
This promotion comes on the heels of Shawna and her family welcoming their second child, Maeve Louise, affectionately known as “the office baby.” Maeve has spent the last two months with Shawna working in the office under our agency’s progressive parental leave and flexibility policies.
We’re also thrilled to welcome Brandon Stoker to our team as a graphic designer. An Idaho native we recruited back home from Florida, Brandon brings experience in app design, paper goods, branding, illustration, video editing, print design and sculpture. Brandon has helped clients like Yard House, Olive Garden, Scholastic, Boise State University, Corkcicle, Full Sail University, as well as a string of startups. The sugar (or shall we say, salt) on top of it all? Brandon is the recipient of a National ADDY award for a 3D package design he made as a student for a make-believe gourmet salt brand.
Most recently, Brandon worked as a Junior Art Director at Push, a digital creative agency based out of Orlando, Fl. He also brings nine years of experience working for Apple, teaching customers how to use Apple products and gaining valuable insight into the mind of the American consumer. So far, we are all really enjoying his insider stories from working at Disney World as a young college graduate, and totally charmed by his Burley, Idaho roots.
Want to join our team? While we don’t officially have any openings at the moment, we’re happy to entertain resumes from compelling candidates who feel they could add something of value to our client work and culture. If that’s you, email me at rstoddard@oliverrussell.com.
